ATLANTA HOT CAR DAD JUSTIN ROSS HARRIS FOUND GUILTY ON ALL CHARGES BY JURY IN THE DEATH OF HIS 22-MONTH-OLD SON (VERDICT VIDEO)

DEVELOPING STORY –  A jury in Georgia Monday convicted a father of murder in the death of his 22-month-old son who was left for hours inside a hot SUV.

Harris was charged with malice murder after investigators concluded he left his child to die on purpose. They also charged him with felony murder, which does not require proof of intent to kill. He was found guilty of both murder charges.

Prosecutors say Justin Ross Harris intentionally killed his son, Cooper, in June 2014 to escape from family responsibilities while he sought sexual affairs outside his marriage. Defense attorneys say Harris, who moved to Georgia from Alabama in 2012, loved his son and that the boy’s death was a tragic accident.

Jurors reached a verdict in their fourth day of deliberations. Jurors believe that prosecutors proved Harris intentionally killed his son to escape from family responsibilities while he sought sexual affairs outside his marriage.
